Science Resources
The MMSTLC created professional learning resources for science educators addressing a number of critical needs in science instruction today. While many of these resources were designed specifically to be facilitated by the teacher leaders, Math/Science Center staff, or STEM faculty who participated in our program, others can be used widely by any science educator. They are not specifically curriculum materials or lessons, nor are they just overviews of content-learning. Rather, all of these combine some elements of instructional resources with broader considerations to help educators reflect on their teaching and become more aware of strategies and considerations to improve student understanding and interest in science.
More of these resources will be posted by the end of August 2010, but in the meantime, we are posting the resources mentioned at recent conferences.
