March 13 Workshop Registration Form
The MMSTLC Workshop on March 13 will include special sessions for cadre I and II participants, as well as a breakout session for STEM faculty. In addition to the Friday workshop, we are hosting focus group discussions and two professional development sessions on Thursday afternoon and evening, and providing an additional day of sub-reimbursements for all TSLs who choose to attend. These include the following:
- DiSC Training. Barbara Jordan will be available from 7-9 pm to conduct a make-up session on the DiSC Leadership Style Analysis for MMSTLC participants who missed the training during their Summer Academy. The actual assessment may be taken online prior to the meeting. However, you MUST attend the session to receive the results.
- Investigate the State. The special science professional development program, modeled on the Science in the City project, will begin the first professional development effort for any MMSTLC science participants on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:45pm. More information can be found on the Investigate the State course on MMSTLC Online (http://mmstlc.net/resources).
- Cadre I Focus Group. This session, facilitated by Moore & Associates staff, will allow TSL participants from Cadre I to share their experiences and challenges and provide feedback to support the needs and plans of the MMSTLC program. This will take place from 3:00 to 4:30pm at the resort.
- Cadre II Focus Group. Also facilitated by Moore & Associates evaluators, this session will allow TSLs to provide input on your experiences to date and will help identify any challenges for the program to address to help us achieve our goals. This will take place from 4:45 to 5:45pm, and will be followed by dinner.
- Dinner. A special dinner will be provided for all focus group and session attendees for the day.
